booting dvdr

I,ve got ps2 scph 30003,and neo2.2 installed. I use dvd region x with dongle to boot backups(cds)and they all boot fine,,,,,tryed the same method for booting dvdr but i,m getting no luck,

I'm using verb dvdr's and primodvd with pxengine342,,,,,,Anyone offer any info ,cheers

A neo 2.2 will not boot DVD-R on a V5 or later PS2..:mad:

Bg is right.With scph 300003 is sound like V5 and with neo 2.2 u got no change........unless u change ur mod chip to none swap..

Managed to boot a dvdr using gameshark2,verb disk conflict desert storm,boot with gameshark2 holding reset in.once booted to main screen,eject and insert dmc(large toc) goto game codes (dark cloud) turn code on or off,press start,start game with codes, menu will ask for exchange of disk,don't just press x,screen will display updating codes release reset,change disk for dvdr, tray will close and game will boot,,,,,PS2 VER 5,,, NEO 2.2,
