Red Magic 2 vs Blue Magic 2

Does it matter if I buy a red v7 Magic 2 or a blue Magic 2 for my US v7 PS2? Hong Kong Toys sells the blues and lil-sang sells the reds(currently out of stock). Is one better than the other?

Blue magic2 only works with Ver.5/6. Red works with all(At least in 3 different versions).
Also Blue PCB does not work with Gameshark.
Your best bet is Brown PCB or Red PCB Magic2.

Don't touch the Blues. You'll have no end of trouble. Buy the Lik-Sang CLone. Or buy the genuine article at modchip.ca or console24.com
