get yourself a modchip such as Messiah or Magic2, a simple search on this forum will provide you with endless amounts of information on them

ideally you want DVD-R format. PS2 can play DVD+R depends on your laser

1st, we need to know what version PS2 you have to see if the Messiah is compatible...
Look on the back of your PS2 and give us the SCPH-######
If you have a US PS2 then more than likely the Magic 2 will be what you want...

Ok the SCPH-30001 R is the magic as good...? I take it the Messiah is for outside the us...

Thank you :)

You have a V5 PS2.... The Messiah will work on CERTAIN V4 US PS2's... No need to worry though as the Magic 2 does EXACTLY the same thing as messiah..... Even has the same number or wires to solder (23).... Check out the magic 2 website......

Magic 2 website! (http://www.china-magic.com/)

Get the Magic 2 and ENJOY hassle free play.....

Thank you for your help.. Two more question for now what do the stats in your post represent..? Will the website point me in the right direction to also have someone install the mod..? I think I figured what the stats are, so lets ask this.. Once I have the mod chip installed, i'll be able to back up my games... Will I need anything special on my cpu besides a burner and Nero..?

I think it's better to use PrimoDVD I have seen more feed back on PrimoDVD than Nero.

When copying a CD based game, use Clone CD and a 100% compatible burner... Find out if you burner is compatible or not by checking this website:Clone CD compatible Burners! (http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html)
When copying DVD based games use a burner like the Pioneer A03/A04 and use Primo DVD to make a DVD-R backup.
You can find a excellent tutorial on Primo written by Charlie_PS2 at this site:Primo Tutorial! (http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Primo_Tutorial.htm)

Actually U dont anything special as BG say as long as u got 100% compatible burner with clone cd u can virtually copy any game
As far as the dvd game u need a dvd writer and if u system runing at NTFS u can copy 1:1 but if ur system runing at FAT 32 than u need to image it and burn back to ur dvd-r.
