View Full Version : Messiah problem
I installed a messiah chip into my ps2 and when i turned it on everything was fine however after i put a game in and pressed reset it whent to a black screen.
Now no matter waht i do i can't get into the menu. Have I left the wires too long?
What should I do?
Any sugestions would be appreciated thanks.

maybe its this simple i hope so
to boot ps2 games singe press of the reset button
to boot ps1 double click reset
if u still cant boot anything then i guessed your wiring is bad
maybe 1 loose
maybe bridge of 2 points
I cut the reset buton off and the ps2 works. When i had it on the ps2 just goes to a black screen after reset.
can it be that the power and gnd wires are too long? do they have to be tight?
I tested every thing with a multimeter and it says there is no bridge between the near by points.
thanks for the sugestion

I put the ps2 back together again and ps2 games still do not boot.
Dvd movies dont boot either even with the double reset
Originals boot and psx copys boot (double reset).
the psx copys only work sometimes. the other times it goes to the psx logo and no further.
