Has anybody made a nocd patch for battlefield 1942 i have the game 44.00 dollars worth but can run go to start and splash screen then wont start.Thanks

does it come up with a window saying 'please re-insert the cdrom'

nothing comes up it starts the battlefield screen and wont play .I have a regstered copy just bought sent e-mail no responce.It keeps going back to desk top .Thats all that happens

the 'checklist' u need to check -

1) update video drivers

2) update your BF to the latest version (1.1)

3) install the no-crack / probably will disable your mp playing on uncracked server, i didn't try it yet myself

4) configure BF

5) read troubleshooting & FAQ

Try upgrading all the drivers for you graphics card, sound card.
Should help and try installing dx 8.1
