with Nero, you cannot make working copies of copy protected cd's (Safedisc - Securom)
Nero should be able to copy games with only "normal" cd-checks.

ive tried to copy soldier of fortune 2 but that only has cd checks yet to no avail lol

I think SoF2 doesn't have only cd check.
My (german) version is Securom....
