Hi all, I have run into a problem and have read some about it here but was wondering anyone can expand. I use smartripper and rip the file which is fine except that my Windows ME wont support files over 4.0 gigs. Do I need to switch operating systems to change to ntsf? Is this the only way around this problem? Is it possible to rip the file into 2 parts and rejoin it? I use the method on www.Dvd2dvdr.com. Also does the smartripper strip the movie file down to its smallest size when you only select the movie and 1 audio tract? Please help and I will surely pass it on when I get the chance.....Thanks
Update the PX Engine then..
Then you won't need to use Win2k or WinXP under NTFS.
I do but most don't want to switch OS.

thanks for the reply. I have already tried that update but it doesn't seem to work. I have a Sony DRU-120A and it is having problems with Prassi, so I have been burning with Neo and it has been doing fine until now. Now it seems like every disk I rip has over 3.99GB and I am not getting the whole movie. If you can think of any other way let me know....thanks

My Problem exactly is that when I rip the file with Smartripper I select only the movie and ac3 file, but I also check the demux box. So when it rips it creates a file ***.m2v at a maximum of 3.9GB when I run that file through SpruceUP it only has part of the movie. Is there any way around this other than changing OS. ALSO as a side question. What determines the movies file size? because I have backed up American Pie 2 which is 105min, but cant back up stir of echoes which is only 94 min...thanks to all who respond.
Email Tyler Durden. He rips lots of movies..;)
