Anybody know where you can find the list of ps2 protected games, so you know which ones to patch, so you wont lose a cd trying to burn it, before you try to patch it.

as long as your cdwriter is clonecd compatible dao96 u not need to patch any game

read options
read sub channel data ticked
read sub channel audio ticked

write
dont repair sub channels ticked

u will copy the protection then and no patching is needed

if your writer not compatible treat yourself to one which is £30-£40 buys u what u need

sorry forgot to include the answer to your question
http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk has a list

That is untrue. All games are protected that is why you need a modchip to boot them. Some are even further protected with blocks such as most EA games. Some dvd games are Dual layered. DVD games are another form of protection from the everyday cd burner. And so on and so forth. There is and will be more protection for ps2 games. We just gotta be persistant.

So far there isnt a dual layered dvd burner out for sale to the general public. So that wont work.

As for dvd movies you can rip the movie out and put it on one disc and the extras and features can be put onto another disc.

It's like Tyler said. They are not available..........YET!
But eventually, some company will release one... Then the movie people will come up with some NEW type of protection to TRY and keep people like us from copying them....
Its like everything else..... They come up with something... We come up with something to defeat it.... and on and on and on....

dual layer home recorder will take a while
dual layer disks r preessed not burnt
to burn 2 layers on same disk without damaging the other i think this take a long time to sort
when they do who can afford it
