Need Help 4 GTA3 It hang's up during plaing

During plaing gta3 freezes what could it be

I have an Athlon at 1.4 Ghz and 512 mb ddr ram Geforce 2 GTS 32 mb ddr.

I think it should be a problem with the drivers any suggestions???

You haven't told us very much...

Are you playing on the origonal or a copied CD? Have you installed the 1.1 patch? Have you gone to Rockstar's support pages?
