i have heard that 2.0 or higher gameshark works without dongle and you can use mamery card as a dongle. is it true or not?

Only one that's close to something like it is GS Lite for the PS1..

Not quite right, Gameshark that ver is above the 2.1, still detect whether the dongle is inserted or not, but if u press x, it can still boot, but without a dongle, u can't put new codes though

I think xtwo meant if it's possible to use memory card of PS2 to load the codes..We all know it doesn't load or load without the dongle..
