Couldn't you record the video from the game if you had a video card with a tv input?

It will turn into Mpeg.

Wrong, yes there is a way. It is a technique used by rippers to make a movie smaller so a dvd game can fit on a cdr.

You need TMPeg Encoder to do this.

Well, I'm wrong eh?
Anyone of u have Metal Gear Solid 2 ??
If so then try to get the videos out...!!! there's NOOO VIDEOS.. All are in-game scenes.. get it??.. you've to make an emulator if you want to play them in ur PC.. (PS2 emulator).....

SO, IT'S CLEAR.. NO it cannot be done guys...
OR, just like "bighap" said, you play the game on ur PC (If you've a TV-Tuner or any video capture card with TV-IN..) And record them urself...

Your still wrong KOC2000. I have Metal Gear Solid 2 and the Big File extractor for it. You have to extract the big file so you can view the actual files for it.

I thinkI know what KOC2000 mean:
U can't actually save the game movie into the movie file but as bighap say u might be able to with the capture card. But that will turn into Mpeg file.

Personally I haven done it myself but its quiet interesting to find out............

Well "TylerDurden" and after you extract the big file and view the actual files for it.. what to do with the files you just extracted??

What is the common extension for PS2 movie files ?? It's .PSS, right? ... Do you find any .PSS or another PS2 video format files on the DVD or between the extracted files ?? I don't think so..

I played the game and completed it.. there's no single movie played while playing...!!! As I said before all are IN-GAME SCENES....

Get me??

"KOC" yes the common movie files are named .pss but there are others that are indeed movie files but under a different name. For example NCAA Football has a big .dat file and when extracted the movie files were not .pss. Every game can and sometimes is different.

I suggest you study more rip kits and tutorials.

Well..... I don't mean the .PSS extension.. I meant the PS2 movies format..

I study more.. eh?.. !!@@!.. haha..
Well it seems that you're the one who should do so...

Anyways... Be the HERO and get us a MOVIE out of the DVD of Metal Gear Solid 2.... If it can be done and you're sure you know how to do it..

;)

..
SEE YA!

In the absence of an active moderator, somebody needs to step in and end this here.

KOC2000, Tyler has offered you assistance on three occasions, each time you have appeared to come back with the "charlie big spuds" attitude. These boards, as I'm sure you know, are well run with virtually no flaming. Lets keep it that way. They offer help and information to those who request it. They are not a competition to see who knows the most.

Tyler helps out on several PSX/PS2 boards, and despite what you may think does know his stuff. If he says something then I am not going to question him.

Tyler - dont bite so much mate, let people think what they want to. The truth will always come out in the end...

Full stop, end of thread.

BRAVO....

Well... when I reply to an thread I say what I think it's right (my own opnion).. I never say to someone that he's wrong and I'm right.. people have different points of view and different ways of doing things...

-(That's it.. If you think that I'm wrong.. then proff..)-

..........

Have a nice day!
