This may have been asked b4, if so, I did not see any posts on my search so I'm gonna ask anyway...

Is there any difference between:

Verbatim 4.7GB Unbranded Printable DVD-R

-&-

Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB for Authoring

-&-

Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB Authoring Ink Jet Pritable

They all seem to have price differences and I just want to get the one that will give me the best results for PS2 games.

Any responses will be greatly appreciated as I will hopefully be getting my PS2 outfitted with an apple chip next week and I need to know what direction I'm going to take on the media issue.

All of them are pretty much self explanatory.
But I think you're right this wasn't before at least I don't recall..
1.Verbatim 4.7GB Unbranded Printable DVD-R has no logo on it.
The Verbatim name that is..
2.Verbatim Authoring DVD-R is for Movies..When you make your own Add it in etc..
3.Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB Authoring Ink Jet Pritable, well this is self explanatory from 1 and 2.
I'm 99.9% positive, if I'm incorrect someone will correct me..

The Authoring DVD-Rs will be of no use to you.

Here is a document explaining the difference between general Purpose and Authorign DVD-Rs.

DVD writers for PS2 games won't burn Authoring DVD-Rs, so it's pretty pointless buying them.

So what about the unbranded Verbatim media? Is that good quality for PS2 games?

Cool, are the unbranded ones (those found in the Verbatim 20 pc spindle) the same quality and the single Verbatim (branded) discs? Is the only difference on says "Verbatim DVD-R" on it and the other's blank?
