What I wanna know is if a a solderless chip that plugs into the white ribbon in your ps2 is:
A - Easy to install
B - Does it work...and work well?

Also does anyone know somewhere in NY where I can just have a good modchip installed?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

He can install any mod chip..... You just have to decide what you mean by "a good modchip"....
My opinion: Messiah or Magic 2. You can't go wrong with either.

Yea i was thinking along the lines of Magic 2/Messiah. HOw much are they though, I thought I saw something along the lines of $80 was I right?

The problem is I want to just take a train down there go around in the city (Manhattan) and come and pick it up. I hate paying all shipping fees and the extra money for a guy to install it for me...but I could be swayed so does Bill have a website? Or any helpful website for my problem.

One last thought...does the solderless chip require GS? I think it does and in that case why spend about $70 on the combo of a chip and GS and Magic 2 might be around that price...blah blah blah.

Thanks

heh yea i read through it too fast the first time. :D

Now im realizing it would cost me like 150-160 dollars to buy a Magic 2 and get it installed. Does this thing really play EVERYTHING, I want to be sure ya know. What about the Messiah CLip (11 Wires) Its cheaper to be installed so whats the downside to that one.

No offense to you man but for the 100 billionth time you cannot use Messiah or Messiah Clip period unless you got a Ver.4 with specific date code..If you got PAL then you're good with Messiah but NTSC machines it works on certain 4's that's it end of story.
AND YES! Magic2 does play EVERYTHING!!
