First, I hope I'm posting this in the right place.


I'm going to be purchasing a PS2 soon and I noticed that Toys R Us (Canada) have them for $299 and Wal-Mart (Canada) have them for $199. Now that's a big difference! (I don’t know if it's like that in the U.S. too). Is it because they are older versions?

If it's older version than it should be cheaper..
In the US PS2 runs $199.00.

It is possible that they have not yet lowered the price of the PS2... For some reason Toys R Us is the only store I have noticed it at.... Normally if you mention that another store has it for a lower price they will match it..... I doubt it has anything to do with the version of PS2..... Just ask the employees what version they have and 99% of them say" :confused: HUH"....
Oh, and I live in the US, so its not just in Canada.....:cool:
