View Full Version : cd players,radios,etc dont reconize my cd

ok so am trying to burn a 74 min cd in data mode but putting musick in it becuase it looks like in data mode more songs fit into the cd but the problem is nothing will reconize it and when it does it just displays 1 thing on my cd but i still can't play it.The only thing that reconize it is the computer why help.

Ok that 1 track u see is a data track. To play audio in Cd-Audio only devices you have to burn in audio.

but only like 16 tracks go into it like that are u sure thers nothind i can do exept what you told me.

Normal CD players as you describe will only play cds configured for audio. The data cd format is very different and is not meant for audio players (why would they need to read data cds??)

Have you tried burning to an 800Mb (or even a 900Mb) cdr?

By the way, some audio players have difficulty reading cdrs and cdrws.

If you really need to stick 200+ mp3's on a disk, then you can buy an MP3 CD Player (this will recognise the disk and play all the songs). A very nice buy :D
