View Full Version : How can i convert pal games to ntsc

I need to get a patch to convert my timesplitters 2 demo, and ssx tricky from pal to ntsc. is there a way a can make a patch for this myself? Or is it too hard?

I don't see why you can't..I mean it's possible to do NTSC to PAL so reversing shouldn't be too difficult..

I did check there and i didnt see any tutorials for doing it.

From home page, select "Console Games" from left side of screen.

From Console Games screen select NTSC to PAL Patching Tutorial" from right hand side of the screen under PSX Tutorials.

I'm wondering..... if you patch your game with a PAL 2 NTSC patch, would gameshark codes work for the game, or would only the AR2 codes work???

How can you patch ssx tricky if its dvd? Do you follow the same procedure as cd-r games?(Burn Image , then ppf omatic then burn to cd) If the game is ripped can you apply a patch?

DVD PS2 games can be patched, using PPF-O-Matic v3.0.

Good luck looking for PAL to NTSC patches. Those are rare. You may have luck finding a PAL/NTSC selector.

i was wondering if anyone has found the steps to convert pal to ntsc cause i downloaded street fighter ex3 and its in pal and i live in the north america and when burned and played it, my tv screen jumps(scrolls from top to bottom). any help would be appreciated.

Its best to get NTSC games when using an NTSC system. PAL-2-NTSC patches are very hard to find since hardly anyone makes them.

I have checked all over for a PAL-2-NTSC patch for your particular game and couldnt find it.

thanx for ur help anyways..if i have no luck with this game then i guess im gonna haveto toss it away cause i can't play it. hopefully something comes out for this game. thanx again for ur help.

thats great!! keep us posted on ur progress. by any chance do u have a patch for crazy taxi. cause i have the pal version and need to convert to ntsc.
