View Full Version : Memorex DVD-Rs
Has anyone got a Memorex DVD-r to work with their PS2
Every PS2 laser Varies. Some machine will run Memorex or rather some games will skip with memorex..For Best Results TDK..
It's almost Guaranteed to work..Other media's are questionable..
Thanks A03 for the responds for both of my posts. You were a big help

I made the BAD mistake of buying a Memorex dvd-r and it didnt work! I hate it when that happens.
Tyler!
Shame..Shame..Mike..Memorex was never that good with SP1 games..You should of thought of that..Outcome would be almost identical on Ps2 as well..However it is great for movies..

Well memorex worked in my psone, but I quickly changed to TDK. As for buying that crap dvd-r I had no other choice, I have a bulk order of dvd-r coming in but I needed to make a quick backup. It was either get a 4 pack of TDK dvd-r for the outrageous price of $30 or get one Memorex at $7.
Well it doesnt matter now. Maybe a little.
Ahhh hell Im just p-off.
Tyler!
Recently I just purchased 100 spindle of TDK DVD-R's for $269.00.
Each DVD-R for $2.69 a pop..Of course minus the Shipping charge..Still better than $4 to $5.00 I normally for TDK DVD-R's at CompUsa even with the S+h charge added on the Spindle..
You should try looking into that since you buy in bulk as well..:p
I have had good luck with memorex dvd-r but i prefer verbatim. 10 disc for 40 bucks.
That's cool. But I'll stick with my TDK's..I got a great deal on it..
$2.69 a pop..You can't beat that..Anyway every laser varies on Media's..As we know..Some work some don't..Experimenting is the best..I'm sure you know that..
