Patches for Beatmania Games Not Working

Hello, this is my first post, though I've reviewed this forum many times before and you guys have been very informational, so thanks in advance.

I have a current problem, though. I've been trying to patch the game Beatmania Gottamix Append (JAP - NTSC) version using the Anti-Mod XPS patch from Megagames. I create an image, then go to the command line to patch the image. It says that it patches the game successfully, and then I burn the image. When I try to use the disc, I still end up with Anti-Mod stop screen. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried creating and burning the image with different CD-Copy programs as well, in case it was just one program, like CloneCD, Nero, and CDRWin. All of them failed. Can anyone give me any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.

Never mind. I figured out what was wrong. There are two patches on Megagames that claim to remove the anti-mod. I was downloading the one that was solely for Gottamix, which was failing. I searched around more and found one .xps file that removed the anti-mod for three games, including Gottamix. That patched worked. Hope this will help avoid someone else going through the same confusion that I was going through. Happy patching.
