Assuming your burner can read the disk properly I've had good luck with CloneCD v4.x in backing up securom games. However, I had to change my regional settings to Canada before I installed it so that it installs all of the circumvention options (ie: hide cdr media).
If you have the space for the image on your hard drive, Daemon-Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.com/) (cdrom emulator) can mount any of the various cd burning packages native disk images directly and bypass Safedisc, Securom and Laserlok protections.

I don't really have an answer to your question. But i want to ask if the game is worth getting? I here it's good and i'm thinking about getting it, but is it worth the 65 dollars?

It's exactly the same as the baldur's gate1/2 games, but it's 3D,(not really worth it)
I made a 1:1 copy of my NWN already using a Sony 175A1 burner and Clony XXL + CloneCD 4(full version). Of course my burner can read the copy protections on the disk.

I used Clony XXL on my Traxdata CDRW401248 (it's a labeled LiteOn) an Clony (german) reports "No CD protection". But the copy does not work.
I didn't detect any copy protections on it with ClonyXXL. I just scanned with CLony then created and burned the image onto the CD.
