Is CDRWin and CloneCD the only programs that can back up ps2 CDs? I'm trying to backup tekken tag and i cant get CDRWin or CloneCD to work. Are there any other programs that i can use? And if so what are the settings?

If your burner won't support CloneCD it is unlikely that other programs that might be compatible will get you very far.

For CD games, CloneCD is a must as it makes 1:1 copies (CDRWin is a must if you patch). SO the anser revolves around having a CloneCD compatible burner to DAO-RAW+96 standard. www.elby.de has the compatbility table.

Ok i got CDRWin working except i wrote it at MAX spped, someone told me it wouldnt work unless i put it at the slowest speed, is this correct? WHen i tried to write it at slow spped i kept getting errors. And for tekken tag do i need a patch?

I burn at 32x with no problems. Its actually up to your burner though. If your burner can handle it then go as fast as your media and burner allow.

Hi Tyler, What media and burner do you use for 32x burning?

Im using a Lite-On LTR32123S 32X burner, with TDK 32x media. It takes me 3 1/3 minutes to do a full 700mb disc. I do SVCD,s VCD,s PS1, PS2, and Music cd's & never had a problem.

I have seen your post already. Very nice. But since mine works fine at high speeds I dont have to worry about it. All of my burners have been able to burn at full speed, without problems.
