Is the PS2 (PAL v5 with Messiah) able to play DVD+R discs? I see almost everybody swears by the Pioneer A04 but i'm just a bit curious.

Cheers

The search button is a wonderful thing. Would save me hours in replies.

Nor do you - but he got his answer. People really should take the trouble to look because others give their valuable time freely. You could at least support that view.

I reply wherever I want! I have seen you on other forums and you are always crying about post counts and people doing research.

I on the other hand, understand that newbies can see forums as overwhelming and hard to understand. So I try and answer questions without being hard on them.

So like I said before "If you get upset over a minimal thing like answering a question then don't answer it. Ill do it for you!"

First of all thanks for the reply Charlie. I don't consider myself a novice when it comes to coping games - PC at least. But when it comes to PS2 and DVDs im as green as they come. All of us 'novices' do appreciate replies even if is just a link to where we can find the info we require.

If we get ignored then chances are we'll take our questions and further down the track experience elsewhere to some other board.

However, when asking a question you are actually hoping to find someone who has experience with what you are asking to reply so you end up with a real & true answer - depends on if they're lying I suppose.

So with my 'Can A PS2 play DVD+R' discs, even if no-one can truely answer my question based on real world experiences (and judging from the replies I'd say this is the case) then i'm gonna try it and find out whether 'in theory it can' but in reality it can or can't. And i'll post what I find.

And for the record this is my belief and opinions and there may be no-one else out there that shares them with me.
