Winning eleven 6 patch not for me unfortunately

I own a scph 30004 with messiah.
I burn all my backups with nero or fireburner.
I never had a problem with any games until this patch for wswe 6.
I've burnt the original without the patch: no problem playing it.
The one with the patch I burnt twice; once on 6 speed(I burn all my games on this speed) and once on 2 speed.(both with fireburner). Both don't work. After the ps2 logo the game sounds to be hanging. both have the same sound.
I use the cd-r from Mmore. All my games work perfect except for this one. That doesn't work at all.
For the patch I used the tutorial as described by psx paul

Try using CDRWin and follow the method described here (http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_patches.shtml).

Well I patched the game again and used CDRWin.
Unfortunately still no luck.
Burned on 1x speed and still the game hangs after the ps2 screen
