FF8 Graphic issue [Archive]

I was trying to replay my Final Fantasy 8 &
now found that it seems to have graphics offset.
It will not recognise my GE Force 2 MX & only
accept software mode which sucks....

Anyone have any luck playing FF8 on newer graphic card
or know how to solve this problem?

Found the Eidos UK site, which has support(some) for FF8. Heres a link to a patch thats 'only' for GeForce users, so maybe this will fix your problem, if not just go to the search option on the right and go down to FF8, see if anything else listed will help. http://www.eidosinteractive.co.uk/support/patchinfo.html?ptid=38

Already tried that patch,
but still having graphic offset & glitches.
I think that patch only for 1st Generation GE force,
newer GE- force2 wll not work.
