burn problems with clony and clonecd

alright here it is using a 100 percent compatible burner with clone cd LTR-32123S using clonyxl and clone dc did bust a move no problem at all :) tried half life on 2x, 4x, and 8x will not work tried shadow man 2 on 8x will not work, mod chip is a neokey usb mod half life won't even go past the now loading on gameshark screen here the ps2 reading it and resetting immediately, shadowman 2 makes it to the black screen but then stops if anyone can help; i'd really really appreciate it. clone cd 4.0.1.3 :(

tried shadowman 2 two more times screen goes black cd starts spinning then stops then starts then stops etc. btw using a gameshark 2.0 but again know this works thanks to bust a move being made with clony xl and clone cd also :(

sorry lol just trying to give u as much info as possible the disc read error is in blue at the top of the title screen of shadow man 2 and doesn't come on till like 5 min later :( i do not understand what's wrong here

Possibly lens needs cleaning with one of those brush disks.

If you are following the tutorials to the letter and all your hardware is compatible, poor media quality can cause some similar problems. If you are using a bargain brand, you might want to try something a bit better if cleaning the laser doesn't help.

I'm not saying it is definately your media, but when copying Gauntlet Legends I trashed 4 Jensen 32X (700MB) silvers, then swapped with my brother for some 24X Gold top Maxell (650MB) and first one snapped off without a hitch. If everything thing else is good and it still fails, you might want to ask around to see if you can swap media with some friends.

Just an after thought, you mentioned your speeds, have you tried at 1X? Are you sure Fast Error skip is not being used, you are NOT regenerating sectors or correcting subchannel data? Sometimes this gets overlooked--especially with the new skin in CloneCD 4.
