Has the PopperMod come out for Playstation 2 USA yet? If so, I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or if it works with a version 1 console.

Any other information on the PopperMod would be helpful too!

No, they only had version 3, 5, and 7, not version 1.
So still, does a version 1 PS2 poppermod chip exist?

Does a popper mod play all backups without swaps or patching like the messiah? If so, is there any idea when a US V1 is coming out?

no... mate...popper mod still require a GS2 (for NTFC) or AR2 for (for PAL).Not sure what version that out for popper mod i US but i did install the popper mod in V5 and V6 board (PAL)

Popper mod requires swapping but not patching it`s a good bargain 50$ canadian thats less for uk and usa ppl
