I'm about to I buy my PS2. I would like for the games to not have to be swapped out as much for my 5-year-old son.

One web sites instruction are as follows:

(1) Boot AR2/GS2 disc 1.
(2) At the main screen , press the EJECT button to eject the CD tray.
(3) Replace the AR2/GS2 disc with an original PS2 DVD game, such as Dead or Alive 2.
(4) Close the CD tray (press EJECT again) and wait for about 30 seconds.
(5) Select START GAME and then select WITHOUT CODES.
(6) Once the AR2/GS2 is asking to change the game disc , press
And HOLD the EJECT button till the RESET light changes from green to
FLASHING orange.
(7) The CD tray will now open and you can replace the DVD game with your backup copy.
(8) The CD tray will automatically close after about 5 seconds.
(9) Wait till the power LED changes from orange to green again and press X now to start the game.

This is kind of too much for a 5 year old. Any other way of making this happens?

Any information would be grateful

I guss what I'm asking is, Is there a MOD-Chip that works like the PSX one? Burn and play.........

Thanks

I'm in the US and the PS2 version is unknown at this time cause I have not purchased it yet.

If you have not purchased your PS2 yet........ I would suggest buying a PAL PS2 with Messiah already installed...... Then all you have to buy is a step-up conveter (PAL PS2's use 220v instead of 110v)..... Expect to pay about $413.00 (US) for the pre-modded PAL system..... (That price includes shipping to your doorstep)....
Not a bad price really....: PS2-$225.00, Messiah Chip-$80-$90 plus shipping for the chip, $60-$80 for the install PLUS shipping there and back... AND the time WAITING to ship there+install+ship back to you......

If you would like the info on the PRE-MODDED PS2 w/Messiah, send me a e-mail......

I just bought my PS2
The info I have on it is as follows

SCPH-3001R/97001 (on box upc)
P-27202731-6 (on box upc)
S01-0701623-5 (on box upc)
Serial-PT307016230 (on unit)
NTSC U/C

Now what is it that I need?
What chips will work best?
And any web site with backup info for beginners?

Thanks
