Just found your excellant forum...

I will be soon installing a MESSIAH or NEO chip, when i decide ON which one, do i have to realign the laser in the PS2?
I have been told that it does have to , and i have also been told that i dont!

There is NO decision..... IF your PS2 supports it, GET THE MESSIAH!!!!

As long as your laser is in good shape, you should not have to re-align it.....

if your laser is messed up that bad you can get a new 1 for 20.00 at http://ps2modchip.com/playstation2.php

He didn't say his laser was messed up.... He just asked if you had to re-align it......:confused:

Thanks m8. no nothing wrong with laser as BG says!
@BG u say that if my" PS supports it" get it, is it the early PS2 version, or the new version that it does not support?
@xboxps3gba good to know taht u can get a new laser for taht price!

Post a reply with the SCPH number from the back of your PS2... Then I can tell you what version you have... and IF the Messiah will work in your PS2.... Also where are you located.....?
