hello
I have a just bought a plextor W1210S
what firmware and program works best
with this and the safedisc
According to clonecd website...
safedisc v1 - no problem as is
safedisc v2 - won't be able to do 1:1 copies as not able to do correct efm encoding

i have the same plextor cd and it does do all safedisc v2 & v2.51 i have had no trouble copy anything that i have put at it. the firmware is 105 and i use clonecd ver 4.0.1.9

Strange that it works for others
Do I need windows 2000 or does it work in Xp
or a never Aspi version or what

well as i said i have had no trouble with mine i am using win98se and my scsi card is a Adaptec AHA-2940au pci which runs only my plexwriter 12/10/32s and my other cd which is nec cd- rom 466
my computer is a gigabyte GA-7DXR Motherbroad, 16XP AMD cpu, 512 DDR Mem, 90gig IDE harddrive, creative SB LIve, 2X 3com 10/100 base pci Network Card, Rage Fury VGA Card, ect. And as said before i use clonecd ver 4.0.1.9 and my plexwriter 12/10/32s is firmware 105 hope this helps
