messiah pb dvd [Archive]

hi,
i have just got my pal ver 4 console chipped with the messiah,the problem is that ps1 cdr or official's cds boot ok everytime but when i put a dvd (ps2 game) in it comes up with the playstation 2 logo but the game does not boot (error disc) .please could someone advise me if i need my ps2 rechipped or any suggestions.

you did know that to play ps2 and dvds you have to tap the reset button twice to put it in ps2/dvd mode to go back to ps1 mode a hard reset is needed (hold reset for 5 secs.)

yes, but i can't play dvd. why? (wrong connection?)

for dvd films its diff depending which version ps2 u got
if double tap wont load dvd film then use single reset
:)
