with this new 1.01 crack on this site, it's not possible for me to get onto battle.net, i followed the directions and everything... everytime i try to get on it says "unable to validate verson. d/l the newest patch from battle.net" am i doing something wrong or is it just not possible to play warcraft 3 online without popping the cd in?
Yes, VLuka is right. So, gotta wait for a V1.01 nocd loader...... :)

well to explain it more detailed the no cd somehow makes it so the game does not determine your game version. however the loader tells the game the version - i want ti bad to :(

Check it out if u wanna use that 1.1 no cd patch with bnet heres what you can do...
Rename war3.exe (The Orginal one) to something else say War3a.exe
Now rename the cracked Exe from GameCopyworld to War3.exe
now Run the Game
After the game is running @ the main menu Alt tab back into explorer and Rename War3.exe (cracked one) To something else like say War3b.exe
Now rename War3a.exe (The original) to War3.exe Then
Alt tab back into Wc3 and enjoy =)

Test this it works for me, i have winxp...
Make a copy of the original war3.exe and name
it war3r.exe and put it in ur warc3 folder.
Then take the cracked war3.exe and name it
war3c.exe and put it in ur warc3 folder.
Finally put this (inside the quotes) in a file
and name it to war3start.bat (or something
else.bat) and put it in ur warc3 folder:
"copy war3c.exe war3.exe
del war3c.exe
start war3.exe
rename war3.exe war3c.exe
copy war3r.exe war3.exe"
Now u only have to run war3start.bat to start
Warcraft and u will be able to play on
battle.net....

Whats the G-net loader do is there to get that to work?
This might be slightly off-topic, but I found no better thread to post it: Does anyone know when the german no-cd-crack for Warcraft 3 will be "released"? Would be very nice to know, thanks in advance.

whats wrong with the american one
I've tied the above methods for accessing B-NET with the gamecopy crack. They don't seem to work. I have XP.
I notice after installation of the game the name of the original exe is Warcraft III.exe not war3.exe as you suggest.
If i change the name of the crack to Warcraft III.exe it doesn't open and i'm now stuck for ideas.

if its not possible now, u have a bad backup. bnet only checks serials and the exe.

Nothing. Except that it does not work with the german edition of Warcraft 3.

I don't know why other WinXP users are having trouble, but this tech worked for me. If you follow the directions exactly, yes, you can play on Battlenet w/o the CD in conjunction with the No-CD crack.
System Info:
WinXP Home
Intel P41.8Ghz @2.01Ghz
SOYO P4I Firedragon
512MB PC2100
GeForce 4 ti-4200 250/500 @275/550
On-board sound - C-Media 6 channel

Gruggle, unless you have the latest patch from Blizzard (which is war3.exe version 1.01.4483), you won't be able to use the second method where you create the .bat file. However, the 1st method will still work.
First of all, do you have WinXP? i think it's been said somewhere in this forum that only WinXP can rename the file. (Verify that)
Okay, although this was posted by raindeer, i'll modify it a little bit in order to perhaps clarify this for you:
Let's assume you installed a fresh install. When you go into your WarcraftIII folder, your war3.exe version will be 1.00.4448. Using your original CD, log on to Battlenet and it will automatically download the latest patch for you. When it does, your war3.exe will have changed to version 1.01.4483.
Ok, now download the Warcraft 3 No-CD file for version 1.01.
Extract it. Now, you can try the 1st method again. It will work. In fact, before I made the .bat file, I was using the 1st method for the past 2 days.
Hope this helps.

Gruggle,
If you still can't connec to batlenet and download the new patch needed to create the .bat file, just go to fileplanet.com or even Blizzard's homepage to download the patch manually.
