Driver 2 problems [Archive]

I have been trying to copy Driver2 and it errors out at 71%. I have tried different reads speeds which doesnt help. Not sure its copy protected, bad sectors or has a scratch on it thats preventing it past 71%. Has anyone had any problems with D2? I'm using CloneCD. Copied games before with this and had no problems. thanks

driver2 is not protected so no patch is needed. your problem is that the disk is dirty or damaged.

I usually rub a little car wax on the disc to prevent skips and that. Didnt work on this one, i guess i will try again. It stops with the same error at the same sector.

Got it this time. Shined the disc up and set it at 4x read. About time!
