I had a few probs with media regarding cds.

My ver 5 messiah will play any psx backup on almost any old cd,

HOWEVER...

trying to put ps2 backups onto cheap media wouldnt work, I had loads of probs n coasters. So went out n bought verbatim cdr's burned with clonecd (registered) reduced write speed to 2x for safety, and they work fine.

verbatim...........is it verb(aah)tim or verb(ehh)tim? always wondered?

Hey Ron, what type of Verbatim CD-R's are you using? (datalife, datalife plus, valuelife, etc...)

never fails to burn perfect ps2 backups. I ALWAYS clean the original immediately prior to burning.
