i have a psx 2 version 5 with a neo2.2 5 wire chip would i be able to put a no solder mode in and conbine the both has i cant boot dvdr with the neo 2.2 any help thanks.:confused:

your best bet wait for messiah clip
final clip will make it 2 easy wires to solder only

neo 2.2 will boot dvd-r's u need a large (toc) game like Devil May cry Demo

Elkayps2, A v5 PS2 with a Neo2.2 will not boot dvd-r, The EA tray eject method will not work on a v5 so only 5 wires are used instead of 8.
To answer your question the no solder mod will work along with the neo 2.2 so you can boot dvd-r but i agree with Dust, I would wait on the messiah.
