somebody from australia posted on here the other day about getting thier messiah successfully installed. have a look back over the threads for your answer.
It was me who had messiah successfully installed.
However, I bought chip and did it myself. Chip cost $200 aud.
I hear the going rate is $500 aud supplied and fitted, saw it on an aussie site, try www.psxplus.com.au

Man, you ozzy's get a poor deal with messiahs. Here in New Zealand, I bought my messiah for $180NZ. To have it installed would have cost an extra $140. So I installed it myself - as I thought $320NZ was too much. In terms of exchange rate, that is: $160US to have an installed messiah.
$275AU to have an installed messiah.
105 Great Brittian Pounds
Tell me what you think about that. Do you want to ship your PS2 over here and me to install one for you?

Check in the trading post, there is quite a lot of people with good deals in there.
What area of melbourne do you live in?? If you are near Knox there is a market (Caribeen Market) that's open on Sunday and Wednesday (have to pay on sunday) there are a few people their who put in different types of chips. I am ot sure of the price though.
Sorry, but where can I get a good price on a Messaih in Sydney? I know of one place where I got my psx modded years ago but I'm not sure how cheap it'd be ... Also, what's a good program for straight copies of the games to DVD-R (if any, which I'm sure there are ... hopefully ...). Oh, and Magic 2, any rough ideas on pricing? Also, ht.com.au have decent pricing on DVD-Rs, but try www.iswh.com.au, as they're slightly cheaper if you buy Pioneer 5 packs w/ jewel cases or 50 disc spindles (save around $1 per disc, which may not seem like much, but is like 1 free disc every 11 discs ... if you're planning on having a lot of DVD-R backups, it does add up ... ) ... <--- sorry I found info. on it if anyone wants to know about DVDr burning goto http://www.ps2ownz.com/dvdrburn.html ... also eyo has really cheap DVD-rs but I don't know about the quality (AU$7.70 ea!)
