AAight, i bought a dvd region X but can't seem to boot my games up....
i insert the cd in the ps2...the menu comes on where it asks which region to choose i choose 1 cause i have an USA ps2 game backup...then the cd case opens and i insert the backup...close it...but nothing happens....please help

Hi,

You also need a modchip installed. The REGION X will not boot backups on its own.

Hey thanx alot !!! tried winback...WORKED!!!!!

was so afraid it wouldn't work..however....the game ICO NTCS didn't work....when i had my Action replay2 i used to have alot of ways to boot so other ways could work for games that didn't work with a certain way....people on the Easywarez forum started telling me it was BS that DVD region is for booting...he said ONLY DVD!!!! well got proof now it's not just for dvd...YEEHAW!!!
