I am trying to copy PS2 games for the first time. Have copied many PS1's using Clonecd. My CDr won't even read the PS2 disks. What am I missing??

CloneCD would be used for PS2 disks too. Download CLONYXL from somewhere and put your PS2 game through that. It will generate paramaters for CloneCD having regard for copy protecttion (like sub-channel data).
if that's more or less what you're doing, i.e. you've got the CloneCD paraneters correct for the particular PS2 game(s), then suspect the game itself (assuming it's the same reader/burner combination as for PS1). Wash the game in warm soapy water. I assume the game plays on the PS2?

Remember that PS2 discs are either CD format of DVD format. Sounds like you are trying a DVD format disc with CloneCD - wont work.
For PS2 CD format games CloneCD is still the best burning software.
For PS2 DVD format games you need a DVD burner (pioneer A03/A04) and prassi primo DVD or Nero burning software.

Hope this helps, any further questions post back.

Almost as soon as I posted my last question, I realized I was dealing with DVD rom games on PS2. Thanks for the advice. Until I have a DVD burner, I guess I won't be copying games.
