GTA3 Help

Help, I am trying to run GTA3 from a backup copy, with a patch from the copy world site, however, When i play the game which loads up fine, I can't see any of the menus or text that is supposed to be displayed, including the menus, dialouge text place names of info on how to play the game, basicaly any text that is supposed to be displayed when the game is running. appart from that the game runs fine..

This has been mentioned many times in the forum and the solution can also be found in the readme file of the game.

You need to download a patch for XP - something like Computer Coming Out of Standby or something, look at the readme file.
