Mod chip advices

Please get me some advices for upgrading my PS2 to mod chipped PS2.
Which is the best in the market and where I could get from the web.

I haven't heard enough good advice on this yet to even think of trying a mod of any kind for my PS2. Everything I have heard as been negative.

messiah is the best chip for playstaions 2, no swap mod.i got one and have not had a problem
