I need to know the best (advanced if neccessary) way to create back-up of PS2 games (CD only not DVD). Does it matter that you need a specific mod-chip for specific copy method (PAL & NTSC)??
ps. Charle, only saudis are rich in Saudi Arabia, not us hard woking Pakistanis!!

We treat Pakistanis better in the UK, I'm sure!
Best way to create a backup of CD games is to have a burner that is 'DAO-RAW+96' compatible with CloneCD. This program makes 1:1 backups (including copy protection) so no patching is required. It is available from www.elby.de and they have a table of compatible disk drives.
As to modchip, the soldered mods make best use of the 1:1 copy. I recommend either Origachip or Messiah. These do no harm to the PS2 and they both do everything. Messiah does everything no swap, Origachip does everything and some of it single swap.
That's it.
