hi charlie u tell me about the dvd diode is shot.just one question were is the location of that diode? tell me if im wrong or not. that diode is in the power supply and the location is the d011? what i need to do? repleace for a new one? and i can find that diode in an electronic shop? The Laser Diode is in the laser assembly. So you shoud buy a new laser assembly. If you go to www.kanection.co.uk you can see what it looks like and then finds a supplier local to you or mail order it from the UK.
