Hi all,
I have a Plextor W12/10/32A CD-Rewriter and an LG DRD-8160B DVD Drive. I am planning to get a Messiah Modchip in a few months for my PS2. In the mean time, I am collecting numerous tutorials and software for when I get the modchip installed so I can get on with my DVD Ripping. However, I have no idea which software to use. CDRwin is not compatable with my DVD rom drive as it is brand new on the market and as Goldenhawk have stopped making CDRwin, it never will. So, what software should I use for taking the ISO image and burning it onto a CDR? Would Nero work? I hear CloneCD only works with CD format games and not DVD. Is this true. If you guys have any suggestions on what software to use then I would be most grateful. Thanks once again for all your help,
LUFCfan.

The tools are here: http://playstation_2001.tripod.com/playstation2001/id13.html

Info on www,ps2ownz.com

I wouldn't bother because 4.7GB into 650MB doesn't go.

Goldenhawk still make CDRWin - they've just released 3.9a.

Of the programs mentioned only NERO works with DVDs, but for ripping you don't need such functionality.

I am planning on getting a DVD-R drive at some point in the future but not quite yet as the cheapest DVD-R discs i've seen are £15.00 a piece - Too Expensive! Anyway, I've already downloaded CDRwin 3.9a and it is still NOT compatable with my brand new DVD Rom drive. It is the last version of CDRwin to my knowledge. If you have any more suggestions, it would be fantastic, thanks anyway Charlie, you really do know your stuff!

I pay £2 for a DVD-R. http://www.business-ecommercesoftware.co.uk/business/svpcomm/Online_Catalogue_DVD_R_Discs_16.html

You don't need CDRWin to read from the DVD-ROM. You copy those files to Hard Disk. The Plextor, of course, is fully CDRWin compatible.
