I am new to making back up copies of games. I install the game and add the crack, then burn it, but find none of the installation is on the copy, so it wont work. I have tried using clonyXXXL and clonecd, I can't get them to work at all. I have changed the regional settings to Germany, I have tried to hide media from the tray icon, but it is not tickable.
Can someone please help me, thankyou.

What do you mean?
Here are the steps to take if you want to make a cracked copy of a game:
1) Copy entire cd contents to temp directory
2) Add crack
3) Burn back to CD-R with the same cd-label.
What do you mean none of the installation is on the copy - are you getting an error messege? What game are you talking about? What burner do you have?
BTW: Make sure you have the latest version of Clone CD (http://www.elby.ch) and try Hide CD-R Media again. If that doesn't enable it, then look for a thread in which I posted a link to a patch to enable it - I think it may be in the CD Protections & Utilites forum - have a look around for it.

well, you need a step 1a - convert ccd image to iso
step 2 - use winiso to add file to image
step 2a - change image back to ccd image
i believe that takes care of it , but thats going on what i've read about winiso. good luck zedy, i know you look forward to trying it.

I like your selective quoting Zedy. If you had have quoted my properly - ^^^ like above ^^^ - then you would see I was explaining in simple terms how to make a cracked copy.

Now that is where my reference to Clone CD came from. I was helping him on his second problem. He couldn't tick Hide CD-R Media, which I do understand he doesn't need in a cracked copy - but with the updated Clone CD I suggested he may have been able to clone it.
I'm here to help people not fight with you.
