I ve heard that you can patch a game and boot it without using a modchip and by using swap trick method and AR2, is this possible? If yes where can i find a list of game patches. Is there a patching software? or individual game patches?

it is possible, but it involves opening the tray by force. which will eventually damage the tray mechanism. I highly recommend you don't bother.

If you're going to use the knife swap you don't need a patch. Just make a straight backup, with cd clone or something and it will workfine as long as you do the swap correctly.

I know it's not good for the PS2, but i'll continue to do it until I can get a hold of a NSTC messiah.

if u want to play ea games u dont need to patch any game u just need to use a simple trick with ur gs 2 for example i have neo 2.2 in my ps2 when i hold a reset botom like a boot dvd game when the game shark main page apear u press start and then without codes and when then gs2 ask u to change the disk you release the reset botom and then swap the disk and then press x and ur ea game will boot w any problems.
