Hi,,,


what i can do with AOE 2 to copy it? i have used colneCD and ClonyXXL but when install from the copy CD ,empires.cab say that he can't resume installing,,, i tried this copying about 10 times,, and there are not any useful something,,,

i think the problem is at your source cd.

have you tried to install the game directly from there?

I think he is suggesting that the source cd was scratched and lead to a bad copy.

Alternatively, you may have copied 'on the fly' which can cause errors - I don't believe your problem has anything to do with the copy protection kicking in - just a bad copy

Check out the Clone CD (http://www.elby.ch) and GCW (http://www.gamecopyworld.com) for information on such things as RAW and DAO etc. Read and you will learn.

maybe try and make an image and then play that and see if the emaige is good!

It's definately not a copy protection issue. It's more likely as we said earlier, a scratched original and/or errors occurred during copying (copied on the fly possibly).

Try making the copy again by copying to image file first then burning the image to the cd. Also clean the original a little too.

if you still want to get your answer on what is daw raw etc. you can go at cdfreaks and read the topics there....

first check whether your imnage is good by mo7unting it with deamontools
