Hi !!!

I tried all four no-cd cracks, which are offered in GCW. I followed the instructions, but none of them works ?!!

I made a full installation and copied the video folder to the game directory. When i want to start the game I get either the message "Insert the right disk" - or something similar - or "morrowind.exe caused an error"...!!

What goes wrong? Do I really need a back up from CloneCd, that the cracks work. I did a copy with CDRwin. The Installation goes fine, no problems.

Is the second cd needed for a full installation? I only used the first cd at the intallation!?

can someone help
thanx, cu

Yeah, I have the same problem. I tried all the ones on GameCopy World and even the one included on the first disk that I burned.

I get a momentary flash of a DOS window and that's it. Depending on the patch/crack I might get a "Insert game disk" message. Anyway, I haven't found any that work either.

I realise that this is an old thread, but i just got the game and thought i'd let you know - i had the same problems so far trying to make a backup copy with the original gamedisk, not a burned copy.

First: You don't need the second cd for the game. It's a map-editor.

I know, Morrowind has SD2-Protection on it, so you can make a NoCD-Loader with bOOls eYe 's SD2Cleaner.

You can download it from http://gamefix.dxs.to

GLH: yup, i tried SD2 cleaner. bOOlseye actually mentioned morrowind in the notes as one with sd v2.6.05 - which means you can't unwrap it (yet) and have to make a NoCD patch.

I tried this and each time I aimed sd2 cleaner at any .exe or .dll in the installation sir, sd2 cleaner reported "this is not protected with sd2".....

so what do i apply the cleaner to!?

The protected file is MORROWIND.EXE.

Yes, the MORROWIND.EXE is the protected one.

I've test it with my version [german] of Morrowind and it works...

Okey what morrowind are u talking about?
If u talking about Elders Scrolls (Morrowind III) then just patch with the latest, and the Safedisc is gone.
There only a cd-check.
