When I try to unzip (unrar in this case) this file, it says that it can not be "extracted correctly!" anyone else experiencing problems with this file?
http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/dl.cgi?bgt3nocd!rar
That URL you posted is not working, at least, not at the moment, try this one (http://www.gamecopyworld.dk/games/files/bgt3nocd.rar) file downloads and the crc checks out fine.
u need winrar at least 3 or u will get crc errors
It does NOT need to be "at least" WinRar v3.0 in order not to have crc errors. I have v3.0, v2.90 and v2.70 and all versions will uncompress the file without crc errors.
It is possible that the file being downloaded might have been corrupted during download and/or it is corrupted at the source.
i just knew the other day i got some crc errors on a different gta3 nocd from another site and that was my reason
Okay whenever I try to extract this file... I get this error...
D:\_DOWNLOADS_\Cracks & Patches\Cracks\bgt3nocd.rar: Unknown method in b-loader.exe
! D:\_DOWNLOADS_\Cracks & Patches\Cracks\bgt3nocd.rar: Unknown method in battery.nfo
! D:\_DOWNLOADS_\Cracks & Patches\Cracks\bgt3nocd.rar: No files to extract
Any ideas guys?:(

you need to copy the deviance fixed .exe file into your gta3 directory. Then copy the bloader.exe into your gta3 directory. Then run bloader. Only problem is that I do not get any sounds because when I go to setup/options it says "no audio hardware detected." Anyone run into this? I tried it both with copying the music files into the audio directory and removing them from the audio directory. No luck. Audio hardware not detected. Strangely though, the music plays at the beginning of the game.
WinRAR v2.90 and v2.70 will not extract a file compressed with WinRAR v3.00
it is a problem with sb128 and some onboard cards and probably more wait for a patch.

Yes, I know THAT, thanks for that informative news brief. READ what I said though, it makes NO mention of a file compressed with WinRar 3.0 or NOT, the statement I made refers ONLY to the file on the LINK I supplied and THAT file WILL uncompress with WinRar v2.90 and v2.70.
Well I figured out what I was doing wrong..... I was trying to Un-RAR an *.ACE file. I downloaded Winace 2.11 and all my problems are gone. If anyone is getting the same errors that I was getting, then just go download WinAce from Tucows or somewhere like that.
Maybe that will help some of us......maybe not. ;)
