do i need 2 cds?? [Archive]

hallo,

I need to know if I can play either a LAN game or on the internet with 1 cd?? i haven't buy the games yet, want to know if i should...the games are MOHAA or RTCW or JKII... the house is networked, so wondering if both of us can get on at the same time??

JKII and MoH:AA you can use on both pcs,but rtcw uses a key so only one pc a time can play internet.But all three will work for lan games....:D

U can play rtcw with the same serial number over a LAN.

You can play any part of C&C over LAN with the two original CDs. Only Yuris revenge you need two different CD Keys (hence two originals).

With Comanche 4, I can play with one cd key, but I have to start both computers WITHOUT! the network connected. Then connect the network line, then go to mulitplayer. It will work that way. Otherwise, it will kill the single and muliplayer game options. Then I have to re-install the game... :(
But I figured a work around :)
I know this is not a warze, but if I knew how to get around the second key that would be nice. :rolleyes:
