Hi
I have a liteon 24/10/40 cdrw burner with the last firmware (s59), and about 4 out of 5 DC backups I burn (from internet or copies) just don't work or work very bad inspite of using Verbatim CD-r's

I write at 8X (i can't under but i would like if someone knows how i can do that...) with disgjuggler with these settings : mode1n offset0, 2352, cdXA.

Could someone help me?
thanks

I'm not sure, but I think DJ takes your image's settings and you don't need to parameter them (since selfbootable CDs have 2 different sessions)...

If it can help you, my settings are :
Mode : Audio
Offset : 0
Block : 2352
TOC : CD-DA

But one question : what size are your games ? Does your burner really support 700 Mo CDs ?

is it a liteon 24/10/40 cd writer that you have?
'cause i'm fed up with throwing my cd's away.
To be more precise, 3 out of 6 cd i write don't start on my DC but i can read them on my pc, 2 out of 6 just start on my dc after 2 mns of work, and 1 out of 6 works normally. (this is an average, i've burned more than 6 cds)

HELP!

I've got a Yamaha 3200E (24/10/40) that works perfectly.
I don't know if Liteon are good burners for DC games, but maybe your problem comes from your CD. I use blue / light green blank CDs.

I have a Liteon 24x10x40x and my DC games have never failed. I always burn with 24x and I've burnt about 15 I think. I used to have a HP drive which would fail 2 out of 3 times, liteon kicks ass.

DiscJuggler 3.5, CD Image to CD Recorder, load the image file and burn away, no need to change any settings as all the right settings are in the image file if it's a good image.

that's what i do and it doesn't work.
For instance a friend has got bomberman online which he copied and when i try it doesn't work.

i'm wondering if it is in fact due to the media and more precisely to it's color so could you tell me what cd do you use (brand and COLOR) (i use verbitim's, they're blue)
thanks

To be honest, you get what you pay for, and if you pay for lite-on dont expect too much from it :)

I had a Plextor and I have a Yamaha now, and I've burn thousands DC games with no pb on any kind of CDs...
