Need help with patching Sims Holiday. I have unsafedisc v1.5.5 to unwrap the SIMS.EXE. In the patch instructions it says: copy files SIMS.EXE SIMS.ICD AND DPLAYERX.DLL. I have copied the game to hard drive with CDRWIN also CLONE CD and have tried to open files with windows explorer and win ace. I used find files, typed in the names, but it couldn't find them. I know it must be easy but I have tried and tried. Do I need a file tool? Please help!

You should find the files on the CD or in the install dir. Just use explorer to find them, copy them to the same directory and start unsafedisc 1.5.5.

that is a new game, why the hell would it have sd1 on it? i think you have the incorrect version of unsafedisc, but anyway just unwrap and then use the new bin file and build it

Sims holiday is sd2.51 protected, I think. Try using unsafedisc2.51, which can be found here (http://gamefix.********/).

I haven't tried unsafedisc2.51 on sims holiday, so I cannot guarentee it will work.
