G'day Guys,

Guys I have put my PS One to bed and I am looking at starting backing up my PS2 games.

A little info would be nice to save me from producing coasters.

My new system: Pentium IV 1.8Ghz, Pioneer A04 DVR etc...Running Windows XP

I have read that "Prassi Primo DVD" is the best for backing up PS2 DVD Games where can I get it and what are the other Alternatives.(Currently only have Veritas "Record Now DX, does this work?)

For PS2 CD Rom Games what version of CDRWin is best and what are the other Alternatives.(This will probably sound stupid but do CD Rom games for PS2 only need to copied to CDR Disks?)

I am in Newcastle, Australia does anyone know someone in this area who sells and installs mod chips?

If there are any definitive sites for all of this information could you give me the address.....

Hope you can find the time to help me in my quest to prevent burning coasters.

Thanks for posting the site it had some great info....

One thing I was wondering is if anyone knows of a site that lists all of the DVD copy protected PS2 games....

Also using Prassi Primo DVD can you patch your images?? and how???

Thanks Again

No Ps2 Dvd's have protection as yet. you just copy them strait with no options checked.

When this site is working, PrimoDVD can be downloaded:
http://www.pacificnet.net/~huyhoang/gs_ar/#

Nero 5.5.6.4 or later is an alternative and www.psxcopyworld.co.uk has the tutorials as before mentioned.
